SVDP News Food Distribution We distribute food on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at Blessed Serra Church from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. You may drop off your Recyclables on Saturday, June 26th. at both churches from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. |

2010 Clergy/Religious Appreciation Night The Knights of Columbus of the High Desert will be hosting the annual clergy/religious appreciation dinner at Our Lady of the Desert on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. All parishioners in the High Desert are invited to attend this evening of dinner & entertainment to show our support for our religious. Tickets for the event are available for $18.00, please see any member of the Knights of Columbus or George Small. Little Rock Bible Study

Your Bible Study group will be starting a new book soon. It will be the Gospel of Luke. Luke was a Gentile, that is, he was a non Jew. His Gospel is the only presentation in the New Testament of a Gentile. It is perhaps the Gospel that is the "most complete." Luke's gospel gives us the most information of the Nativity and infancy of Jesus of all four Gospel presentations. Why has the Holy Spirit seen fit to tell us so much of this part of the life of Jesus? Come and join us as we ponder this question and so many others. We meet Friday's at Blessed Serra at 9:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at Our Lady of the Snows at 9:00 a.m. Please Note: There is no Bible Study the first Wednesday of the month at Our Lady of the Snows. |

BLESSED JUNIPERO SERRA Women's Council The council regularly meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Serra. The next meeting will be held on July 20th.

OUR LADY OF THE SNOWS Women's Council The council meets on the first Wednesday of each month. The next meeting will be on July 7th at OLS.
