2010 Fundraising Profits for BJS
Every year an ambitious group of volunteers spend countless hours putting on
our Parish
fundraising events, ( yard sale, spaghetti dinner and Fiesta). When everything is said and done,
they transfer the profits from these events into the parish
accounts to be spent however it is needed. Here is a breakdown of the money given to us from
the 2010 Fundraising Committee
and how we used the funds for the benefit of the parish:
$6,625 – Parish Debt
$1,200 – Replace Heating & A/C Ducts at the Rectory
$2,648 – Replace/repair sidewalk on South side of Church
$770 – Pumped the Septic Tank
$5,012 – Refinished the Parking Lot
Total - $16,225

DDF 2012 Campaign
You received the letter from Fr. Frank with the pledge cards for the DDF. Thank you for your
prayerful reflection on the letter and his homily of two weeks ago. You may have already
determined how much you will give to the DDF this year as well as how much your weekly
commitment to the parish will be. The pledge cards are for you to fill out and send directly to
the diocese. You can include your first payment or just send the card with the pledge to them.
They will send you a reminder each month on the
amount that is due.
If you intend to make a
one-time donation then fill the card out as a pledge, put the amount of the one-time donation
in the area for the pledge and then include the check for the
entire amount.
It will show as a pledge made and fully paid.
